Executive Director Emerge Ministries

We are humbled and excited about your decision to become one of the many voices of God’s people serving with Emerge Ministries. Our volunteers represent a diverse group of individuals. We worship in many different churches, we are members of different denominations, cultures and race. We each have different life experiences, even so, we do not dilute the Word of God. We choose to focus on the essentials upon which we can all agree. We just want to give them the love of Christ as it was given to us. We believe the Bible teaches there are many gifts, many voices, but one Lord Jesus Christ. We do not preach against any other beliefs or religions, we let the Gospel of Jesus Christ speak for itself. When you sign below you are acknowledging you have read and understand our three statements of proclamation. You also are confirming you will not teach or preach anything contrary to this proclamation.

1-The Purpose of God
We affirm our belief in the one eternal God, Creator and Lord of the world, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. He has been calling and sending His people back into the world to be His servants and His witnesses, for the extension of His Kingdom, the building up of the body and the glory of His name. To the task of making the treasures of salvation, hope, love, and grace known through the power of the Holy Spirit we desire to dedicate ourselves to this calling.

2- The Authority and Power of The Bible
We affirm the divine inspiration, truthfulness and authority of both the Old and New Testament Scriptures without error in all that it affirms in faith and practice. The message of the Bible is addressed to all men and women. Through it the Holy Spirit still speaks today. He illumines the minds of Gods people in every culture to perceive its truth freshly through their own eyes thus discloses to the whole church ever more of the many - colored wisdom of God.

3- The Uniqueness and Universality of Christ
We affirm there is only one Savior and only one gospel, although there is a wide diversity of approaches. As much as we embrace diversity in revealing Gods unity of His people we reject as derogatory to Christ and the gospel every kind of syncretism and dialogue which implies that Christ speaks equally through all religions and ideologies. There is no other name by which we must be saved. God loves everyone, not wishing that any should perish but that all should repent to proclaim Jesus as the Savior of the world. We state this to proclaim Gods love for a world of sinners and to invite everyone to respond to Him as Savior and Lord in the wholehearted personal commitment of repentance and faith in developing a personal relationship with Jesus.
