Five Homes Rising in Western North Carolina

This home is one of five builds Emerge Ministries currently has underway as part of the long-term recovery effort following Hurricane Helene. What was once a family facing the overwhelming task of rebuilding is steadily becoming a home again.

Every wall raised, window installed, porch built, and step forward represents the combined efforts of so many people. Volunteers have given their time and skills, partners have provided critical resources and support, and donors have made it possible for this work to continue.

Long-term recovery does not happen overnight. It takes months of commitment, coordination, generosity, and people willing to keep showing up long after the immediate disaster has passed.

We are incredibly grateful for everyone who has come alongside Emerge Ministries in this work. Together, we are helping families rebuild more than houses—we are working to restore hope and remind families that they have not been forgotten.

There is still work ahead, but these pictures show just how far your support has already helped us come.
